The final three shortlists have been released from this year's 25th Anniversary Eurobest.
Earlier today, ahead of tonight’s awards, the shortlists were finalised for the Film Craft, Print & Poster Craft and Integrated categories. A total of 907 entries have been shortlisted for the 2012 awards. The juries will now spend the day deciding which entrants are worthy of prize-winning status. All of the winners will be revealed and honoured at Lisbon’s Pátio da Galé, which hosts this year’s Awards Ceremony and After Party tonight (Friday 30 November).
A full programme of seminars, screenings and workshops continued throughout yesterday with a host of high-profile speakers taking to the stage. Speakers included Graham Hodge of LBi; Pablos Holman from The Berlin School of Creative Leadership; Duval Guillaume Modem’s Geoffrey Hantson; Peter Lord, the Co-owner and Creative Director at Aardman; and Nuno Miranda from VICE. Last night’s networking event, Mad Sounds @ Hard Rock, provided delegates with a chance to socialise and network in a fun atmosphere while entertainment was provided by bands and acts from Lisbon’s agencies.
Tickets are still available online and at the venue for today’s festival programme, which includes the awards ceremony and after party and will see two global legends speak; Sir John Hegarty, who will give his President’s Address ‘Risking Risk’, and David Droga with his seminar ‘Creativity with a Purpose’. Further seminars include Bompas & Parr, Traktor, Creative Social with Graffiti Artist Niels Shoe Meulman and Tribal DDB Amsterdam.
