Agency Snapshot: BETC
Since it was founded in France in 1995 by Rémi Babinet, BETC has evolved into one of Europe’s great creative success stories. Its branches in London and Paris are now highly renowned for their ability to bring a fresh perspective to established brands.
Under the direction of President and CCO Stéphane Xiberras, the agency has built a reputation for pushing creative boundaries with its quirky, unexpected ideas. The 2010 Gunn report ranked it as the 2nd most creative agency in the world, while the agency’s off-the-wall concepts have also won them their fair share of awards. Last year, BETC’s Canal+ advert “The Bear” landed the agency multiple trophies at Eurobest’s sister festival, Cannes Lions - including the highest accolade of all, a Grand Prix, awarded for Best Production Value in the Film Craft category.
Stéphane Xiberras is set to speak at Eurobest this Thursday about the power of creative bravery, citing his relationship with Canal+ as an example of how working with clients to take creative risks yields the best results in the long run. Check out these videos of some of the most original work BETC has created for Canal+ - as well as the video Stéphane himself created to promote his spot at Eurobest.
