Emanuele has over 20 years of experience in healthcare communications and currently he leads a large creative team working on assignments at domestic and international and global levels.
Soon after graduating in sciences, he specialised in Comic Illustrations & Computer Graphics at the European Institute of Design (Milan); his scientific background combined with this artistic training provided a perfect combination for stepping into the world of healthcare communications.
Before joining S&H in year 2000, he worked for Ogilvy and for a number of design boutiques. He left Sudler briefly to work at LeoBurnet healthcare division for 2 years working on both healthcare and consumer clients, but was approached to return to the Sudler network, than in 2014 he moved in the Havas group where he become Executive Creative Director and Innovation Lead.
He has a experience which covers all aspects of creativity – from TV to print, branding, internet/new media and digital strategies for substantial healthcare brands in wide range of therapeutic areas. He has been responsible for and contributed to many successful projects, including Bayer’s Global Oncology Franchise, the global campaigns for Adalat (cardiovascular) and Glucobay (diabetes), the pan-EU launches of Pfizer’s Vfend (anti-infective) and BI’s Ariclaim (SUI), the EU pre-launch/launch of Onglyza (diabetes – AstraZeneca/BMS).
In addition, He had also handled the domestic launches of Viagra (ED),Vimovo (osteoarthritis), NovoSeven (acquired haemophilia), Brilique (ACS), Bayer Italy Corporate Image and the Cardioaspirin stroke prevention public awareness campaign.
His creative work has been recognized by international awards at the Rx Club, the IPA Best of Health and the Globals.
Apart from his agency work he has been Professor of Art Direction at Milan’s European Institute of Design for six years which he finds very engaging and rewarding.
