Andreia Vaz

Innovator and marketer with more than 20 years in Innovation, Strategy and Branding, in industries such as Media, Telecommunications, FMCG and Location Based Entertainment (LBE).

Andreia held various roles in Marketing – from Brand Manager to Marketing Director – and a breadth of roles in Innovation, mostly in London for the past decade. From Local Commercialisation to regional (Europe) Product Creation, to the Global Futures team where she focused on anticipating future strategic opportunities, Andreia held a range of Innovation roles from Project Manager to Senior Creative & Innovation Director.

Having returned to Portugal in 2020, Andreia holds the position of "Head of Innovation (Beyond the Core - IBTC) & Digital Transformation" for Nestlé Iberia (Spain & Portugal) where she and her team connect trends to future proof the business by testing and learning fast, to scale up the big bets faster in market.

Her work mainly focuses on accelerating the business strategy in spaces where Nestlé still doesn’t operate, be it in product breakthrough or beyond, such as new services and digital platforms, new channels, new business models or the use of data, by scouting solutions internally within Nestlé's talent teams across the globe, and externally working with specialist partners and startups.

In her extensive career, Andreia has launched more than +100 new products across the world (ranging from FMCG to the LBE industries) and since 2020 has incubated dozens of partnerships with startups for MVP’s and market testing. A new brand called Freeness, co-created with startup Fidufoods in 2021, has been selected for Finalist of the GAMA Innovation Awards 2022 in the category of “Travel”. Andreia is also a Mentor for the Global R&D Mentoring programme at Nestlé and is an Executive Board Member of both Nestlé Spain and Portugal.

Andreia has been with the Lions Cannes & Eurobest since 2020 having started her participation in the Eurobest 2020 as Judge for "Innovation & Creative Data", following the Lions Cannes Jury for "Creative Data" in 2021, and in the summer 2022 Andreia integrated the Jury for the "Young Lions Marketer Competitions".
