Biography

Christian Anhut is the Chief Creative Officer of Edelman in Germany, where he leads an interdisciplinary team in crafting innovative communication solutions with a focus on earned creative.

With over 20 years of experience in creative agencies, Christian understands that great ideas can take many forms, and he champions work that creates meaningful connections with audiences in new ways.

Throughout his career, Christian has led teams to develop a diverse range of creative work, from online games and new products to digital solutions, visual branding, and integrated global campaigns.

His work has been recognized with over 200 awards at major shows such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio, LIA, ADC, Eurobest, The One Show, and the Webby Awards.

In 2023, Christian's leadership on the Oreo Cheat Cookies campaign gained significant recognition, ranking as the second most awarded campaign of the year worldwide according to The Drum. He was also named the 7th most recognized Executive Creative Director globally by The Drum.

Christian joined Edelman with the belief that every idea a brand puts out into the world should be relevant enough to earn attention, without having to buy it.
