Biography

Cristina D’Anna is a Creative Director at Monks Milan with 18 years of experience in advertising. She began her career as a copywriter and built her path in major international agencies. From 2011 to 2016 she worked at MRM/McCann, and from 2017 to 2023 she was part of J. Walter Thompson, later Wunderman Thompson. During these years she developed campaigns for a wide range of sectors, from telecommunications to food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and beauty. Among the clients she has worked with are Campari, L’Oréal Paris, Lamborghini, and Barilla.

Her work has been recognized in Italy with several ADCI Awards, the most respected honors in the national industry. Internationally, she has received an EPICA Award and earned three Shortlists at the Cannes Lions.

Alongside her creative role, Cristina is committed to advancing equity and inclusion within the industry. She is part of the Equal team at the Art Directors Club Italy, where she contributes to initiatives promoting diversity and representation. She also mentors with SheSays Milan, supporting women at different stages of their creative careers. Through these activities, she continues to advocate for greater equality, aiming to help build a more open, fair, and inclusive creative community.
