Biography
As an Experiential Creative Director with over 15 years of experience, Marula has been at the forefront of the field since before "experiential" was a buzzword.
Her journey began with the founding of her creative studio in Barcelona, where she explored innovative concepts and pushed the boundaries of immersive art. This interest led her to co-create a New Media Art Center in Beijing, a space that became a cultural landmark for digital art and technology.
Her passion for innovation extends from site-specific installations to brand activations. This drive led her into advertising, where she joined Wieden+Kennedy, boosting Nike's APAC presence with experiential campaigns.
After a decade in China, collaborating with various agencies and top brands, she moved to Amsterdam to establish and lead the Experiential department at .Monks, directing a talented team and overseeing projects on a global scale.
Marula is an artist, technologist, spatial dreamer, and label-resistant individual who, when not transforming ideas into reality, can be found learning creativity from her daughter or keeping her cats from becoming accidental art critics.
